News from BFRMC Executive Board

Season’s Greetings!

Excerpts from the recent email with club updates are included below:

1) New Website Up and Running

2) New Hires at BFR for 2019

New Website: The old BFRMC.org website served its purpose for many years but was outdated in form and function and needed replacement. The new website has come together well; we’re still tweaking some of the content and formatting but think it is ready for publishing. Check it out and let us know what you think.

New Hires at BFR for 2019: Rather than wait until the annual newsletter in February, we’d like to now announce two new hires we believe will make a huge difference in the quality of the BFR experience. First, Jim Becker has accepted the position of Head Professional for the 2019 season. Many of you know Jim from BFR or Tower Ridge and his reputation and experience are a welcomed addition to the management staff. Further, we also have a new BFR course Superintendent, Stephen Curry, who has over 15 years of experience managing public and private courses in New England including Egremont CC, Shuttle Meadow CC, Berkshire Hills GC, and Torrington CC.

The Executive Board and Tournament Committees are looking forward to working with Jim, Stephen, Jay, and Barry to create a 2019 Season that will meet and exceed everyone’s expectations.

Replies and requests for additional information are welcomed at bluefoxrungc@gmail.com.

You can also leave a comment on the blog; please leave your name and email if you do!

Please note the old website and contact address (bfrmc.org and info@bfrmc.org) will be discontinued and shutdown in the near future.
