The Blue Fox Run Men’s Club (BFRMC) is a men’s golf league located at Blue Fox Run Golf Course in Avon, CT.  The Men’s Club has been in existence for more than 40 years and is administered by elected volunteers.

 

The membership includes people of all ages, from Junior members in their 20’s, to Senior members that are 60 years old and older. The members come together to promote camaraderie as well as enjoy some healthy competition. Member handicaps range from 0 (scratch) to 36. We are hosted at a privately-owned public links facility with 27-holes, an on-site golf shop, restaurant, and driving range. 

 

Course ownership provides guaranteed tee times for Men’s Club play on Sunday mornings (or Saturdays on some holiday weekends) and for multiple 2-day (Saturday plus Sunday) tournaments. 

 

Weekly tournaments are scored based on individual gross and net scores.  Also, a few Member/Member or team events are contested throughout the year. Net and/or Gross tournament winners receive Pro Shop Credit. Tournaments run from the beginning of April through the end of October.
